Carcarにできた記念碑に行ってみたけど。。。

良い天気になりました。

風向きが南西からに変わったので、昨日よりも蒸し暑く感じます。

またシマラ教会へ行ってきました。

今回私は中まで一緒に行かず、駐車場でたいきしていました。

This time I didn't go inside and waited in the parking area.

その後携帯電話の料金を支払いにCarcarのガイサノへ。

支払いはモアルボアルでできるのですが、諸手続きはオフィスでしかできません。
After that, I went to Carcar's Gaisano to pay for my cell phone.

Payment can be made at Moalboal, but procedures cannot be done without coming to the office.

第２次対戦中に日本軍に捕らえられ、処刑されたホセ・アバド・サントスを称えるものでした。

ここで捕らえられたらしく、処刑されたのは別の場所です。

彼が処刑される直前息子に語った言葉が、今でも語り継がれているそうです。

It was a tribute to Jose Abad Santos, who was killed by the Japanese during World War II.
He seems to have been caught here and was executed elsewhere.

The words he told his son just before he was executed are still being passed down.

新しい観光名所にして観光客を呼び込むのも目的みたいですが、日本人としてちょっと複雑な心境です。
The view from here is the best, so it seems that the purpose is to make it a new sightseeing spot and gather tourists.

But I have a slightly complicated feeling as a Japanese.
